error associated with Connecting WordPress Rest API

    I’m getting this error message below when I activate the WP Statistics plugin. It is the only plugin I have activated beside the ‘Maintenance’ plugin. I switched to the default WordPress theme 2022 to make sure it was not theme-related. I read the forum topics and switched to an older version of the plugin but it still gave a similar error with only the “Please Flushing rewrite..” Is ther a fix for this.

    cURL error 35: error:14094410:SSL routines:ssl3_read_bytes:sslv3 alert handshake failure
    Please Flushing rewrite rules or activate WordPress REST API for performance WP-Statistics Plugin Cache / Go Settings->Permalinks
