Error at apply_shortcodes()

    I am currently verifying to bring WP and plugins up to date.

    WP is at version 4.9.22 and MetaSlider has been updated from 3.13.1 to 3.29.1.

    When using the flex slider, I get “Call to undefined function apply_shortcodes() in /plugins/ml-slider/inc/slide/metaslide.image.class.php:662”.

    It was stated that MetaSlider requires WP version 3.5 or higher, do I need a higher version?

    (I understand that eventually this will be resolved by bringing WP up to date.)

    Sorry if the text is unnatural as I am using a translation tool.

    Thanks for using MetaSlider @sssssssssss3

    Very soon we’re going to change the minimum requirement, probably to WordPress 5.0. It’s been a long time since we tested back to WordPress 4.

    Please do consider updating your site to see if that helps solve this.
