ERROR: BAD_REQUEST – Array not expected (line 1, character 202) – INVALID_REQUES
-
Hello Plugin Support Team,
I am writing to report a critical error that is preventing customers from completing purchases on our WordPress site. The error occurs during the payment process and results in a failed transaction with the messages “Array not expected” and “INVALID_REQUEST_ERROR”.
Here are the detailed steps to reproduce the issue and the technical information from our site:
When a customer enters their payment details and clicks the “Place Order” or “Pay” button, the payment fails. The customer sees a generic error message, but the system logs or displays a more specific error: “ERROR. BAD_REQUEST – Array not expected (line 1, character 202) – INVALID_REQUEST_ERROR”.
This error is consistent and happens for all payment attempts.
Steps to Reproduce the Error
- Add a product to the cart.
- Proceed to the checkout page.
- Fill in all required billing and shipping details.
- Enter valid test credit card details (e.g.,
4242 4242 4242 4242). - Click the “Place Order” button.
- Result: The payment processing spinner appears, followed by a failure. The error is logged in the system.
This issue is currently blocking customers from completing payments, so I would appreciate your urgent support. Please let me know how to fx this issue?
If needed, I can also provide:
- Log entries from WooCommerce → Status → Logs
- Screenshots
- Test credentials or staging access
Thank you and looking forward to your quick assistance.
Best regards,
Shobuj Khan
