• Hello, I have a problem with your plugin. You see a blank page with only written “error”. I have not made any changes and updates it, I just removed the old pages, but nothing else, in fact, disabling the plugin the problem is gone.

    I have read of other people who have had the same problem but I have not read good solutions to this problem.

    What should I do to solve it? I would like to continue to use your plugin but this way I can.

  • Actually this is not a problem.

    It is the default message for a (temporary) host lockout as set (Host Lockout Message) in the Global Settings section on the iTSec plugin Settings page.

    As it is a temporary host lockout it will by default expire after 15 minutes. To prevent the host lockout from happening add your computer IP address to the “Lockout White List” in the Global Settings section on the iTSec plugin Settings page. Then click on the “Save All Changes” button.

    Make sure to specify the correct IP address.

    Any whitelisted IP address will not be locked out after (default) 5 invalid login attempts within the check period (default 5 minutes).

    After adding your computer IP address to the whitelist you should be able to continue working with the iTSec plugin.

    Another reason for a host lockout is too many 404’s.

    Did you enable the iTSec plugin “404 Detection” setting ?
