    Dear marvinLabs

I noticed a strange error in the latest udpate of Wp customer area. My previous setup was using postname as my permalink settings. However, after upgrading to the latest version, I found that the private page links do not work anymore. I guest a page not found 404 error.

When I installed the plugin in a fresh WP isntallation I realised that the default permalink is now set to the custom value ‘/index.php/%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/’ which doesn’t accept any other values.

Can you please fix this. having ‘index.php’ at the start of all my client’s urls isn’t an option.

    thanks.

    Hi

You will not find /index.php/ anywhere in our code. There must be something wrong elsewhere. Maybe your htaccess file?

this was on a fresh install, WP 4.8.1, WP Customer Area 7.3.0, no other plugins installed.

Ok, looks like its an apache issue, my mod_rewrite module doesn’t seem to be working and as a result default WP htaccess is not being executed….

    [EDIT]

I discovered that my Apache installation configuration was not allowing htaccess to override the directive.
