Error Change tabs – flag language (language return to default language)

    Hello,
    Can I have a support for a problem?
    I installed polylang (free version) on my wordpress site.

    I have 2 problems:
    1)I click on the Italian flag and the home page becomes Italian (IT), but when I click on another tab, the language is reset to defaul language (EN).

    2)When I change the language in the Italian language (IT), the HomePage tabs are not translated

    What can i do?

    I solved the second problem, I created a new menu (one for the English language and one for the Italian language).
    But when I change tab, the default language is reset and does not retain the language choice
