Hi,

I have an urgent problem with woocommerce. At checkout my clients see this message when they want to buy a course:

Your cart contains at least 1 product associated with a course. Please sign up or log in first to continue checkout. Please contact our support if you need assistance.

It’s on all checkout pages, not only the one I put above.

I already tried a lot to resolve this, for example disable all plugins. But nothing work. Please can you help to resolve this?

If I understood you correctly, you don’t want your customer to create an account/log in to make a purchase, is that correct? I tried to reproduce this behavior on my end, but I couldn’t! 🙁

Can you share the steps taken to reproduce this? Also, we may need a bit more information about your site.

Could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.

Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

And finally, a screenshot of the error should help us to visualize it better, you can use this tool to past your screenshot and share the link with us (or any other image sharing link that you prefer to use).

Hi André, thank you for your message!

Until now clients can buy a course or product with making an account at checkout. This is necessary to enter the course. Most clients don’t have an account already, so they fill out a password during checkout. I don’t want that clients can buy without making an account.

Until now it worked fine for years, so maybe it’s a bug after an update?

The steps:
> Someone goes to a product, like this one: https://www.sabineboogaard.academy/maak-van-je-website-klantenmagneet/
> Fills out everything to buy it
> Then by clicking on ‘bestelling plaatsen’ they get the error

It looks like it doesn’t happen in all cases, because I did sell some things the last days.

Thank you for your reply. It looks like this issue is coming from another plugin. I understand you have tried deactivating all plugins, but can you run a full conflict test to isolate the issue?

Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce (you’ll need to deactivate LearnDash too and create a simple WooCommerce product if needed
Test to see if the issue has been resolved

If you don’t want to test on your live site, you can create a staging site using a plugin called WP Staging: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wp-staging/

Hi Maykato,

thank you for your reply. I did all of this and discovered the problem. I could also resolve the problem. I think at least. 2 clients sent me an email that they couldn’t buy the course, so I let them know that now the problem is resolved. In case they still encounter the problem, I let you know. But for now it seems fine.
