Thanks Daniel! Is there a workaround in the meantime? This is causing my backups to fail 🙁

I just installed this plugin and tried three different backup destinations and getting the above error. Is this plugin broken? How do I use this? Have tried multiple times with different options.

In moment you can Exclude the XML Export. With next release it should be fixed.

Also getting errors when using destination as FTP only. Have tried this more than 7-8 times, with different options (Passive FTP, active FTP, FTP over SSL, normal FTP, etc, etc – all possible combinations).

It gets stuck at 67% and the time keeps running (even for a simple 86KB file), which should not even take 1 second to transfer.

    What to do?
