I am also experiencing a very slow admin panel since yesterday… seems to be the same issue
Facing the same issue. Can someone explain how to resolve this?
Some very helpful users (not the developer(!)) on the Thememove support system have come up with these two solutions:
File to edit is “insight-core.php”
Line No : 344 -> timeout “120” change to “0”
Line No : 297 -> timeout “120” change to “0”
Line No : 275 -> timeout “120” change to “0”

And:
Edit insight-core.php and remove the purchase code check lines to prevent timeout:

We’re still waiting for the theme developer (Thememove) for an official fix.

According to the author this has been fixed. Remove the plugin, reinstall the plugin and it should be back to normal.
Update: I tested this and it works again.

It is still causing big performance issues, even the updated version. I don’t recommend getting used to this plugin. You can’t even ask for repairing it without paying for support, a bit nonsense.

This is retarded. Now i have to pay for support to notify them that their product is broken again.
@caged Is your site slow? does it speed up when you deactivate it?
I am spamming them on their support forum in opened tickets, but they are successfully ignoring me.
Seems to be working again with version 1.2.8. What version are you running?
Have you tried the solution below?
File to edit is “insight-core.php”
Line No : 344 -> timeout “120” change to “0”
Line No : 297 -> timeout “120” change to “0”
Line No : 275 -> timeout “120” change to “0”
Screenshot: https://ticksy_attachments.s3.amazonaws.com/insight%20core_727.png
And:
Edit insight-core.php and remove the purchase code check lines to prevent timeout:

I tried it. And it is quite changed the line numbers doesn’t fit and code neither.
In my case it is this theme https://themeforest.net/item/amely-ecommerce-wordpress-theme-for-woocommerce/20858805 And in the package the latest version of this plugin is 1.6.7.2 That could be the issue.
Any way to get your version?
Edit: wait a moment 1.2.8? that sounds like old as hell.

Update:
The problem is swatches function. It can’t handle if there is many product variations.
Removing this line:
require_if_theme_supports( 'insight-swatches', INSIGHT_CORE_INC_DIR . '/swatches/swatches.php' );
from insight-core.php fixes the performance.
Same problem.
Thanks for this help. Changing timeout works.
But on last version 1.7.2 look like is without “swatches” (i didnt find this code).
Code quality of this theme/plugin is horible.
@forusak Wait. What version are you on? Lol. Does the theme developer of my theme use an ancient version of the plugin or what?
@jakubkasparek it is possible that they fixed it, maybe based on my comment maybe not 😳 But you 1.7.2? interesting, this theme was updated few days ago and there is 1.6.7.3. They are pretty “interesting” company.
@caged Maybe 😳 well if I am correct, this plugin is fixed to these themes because it is made by same developers, it is not meant for 3rd party themes. I don’t know if they have different version of plugin for each of their theme or what is happening here.
@forusak My bad. 1.2.8 was the theme version, not the plugin version. Current setup:
Theme: 1.3.0.
Insight Core Plugin: 1.5.5.1
Doesn’t change the fact that this is one of the more “interesting” plugins i’ve used in years.
