You caught it, that looks like the problem.
I’m working on refreshing my computer after some power problems, and don’t have access to update the plugin, but that should fix the problem until I get back up.
There’s an update going out that should fix this. Check your plugins page in the next few minutes.
Did this resolve your issue?
Yes, it is working now. A couple of things- it appears that I have to use the “events” feature in order to book a room/resource that is out of time frame/scope of the public rooms – say for staff bookings? Is there a way for staff to book any room for anytime?
I am also willing to help develop your plugin if you are interested?
Thanks
If your user is logged in to the site, they should be able to enter events without time restrictions. Those should only affect public, un-logged users.
I appreciate the offer! Are you bilingual? I’ve made the project i19n compliant and it’s ready for translation into a number of languages!
Right, the events is a way for staff to reserve rooms/resources. I just was trying to see if there was a different way of doing so – it was a bit confusing.
I’m not bilingual but I could create the language files for the most common to start with.
I am also willing to help with coding/CSS, dev troubleshooting/testing, etc.
Events are “staff created meetings”. They don’t require approval and the public can register (if you want).
Meetings are “public created meetings” and are reserved by the public. They are not able to have registrations. The names can be hidden. They don’t show up on the event calendar (have you installed that secondary plugin?)
If someone logged into the site tries to make a meeting, they shouldn’t be restricted to times.
Check out our Facebook page! I use it when asking for help, testing, releasing an occasional beta for testing and the like.
