Error creating backup

I need help, my backup is not working. I chatted with dreamhost, and they indicated it is a problem with the Crio plug in. I am trying to update that plugin and it wont let me. Below is the error:

Thank you for contacting us @functionalcents and I am sorry to hear there are some problems generating your backups.

One alternative you can try, since normal updates do not seem to be working, is to delete the Crio Premium plugin from your WordPress installation and upload the latest version files. You can download the newest plugin version from your BoldGrid Central account in the Plugins section.

Another explanation for the failures could be the compressor used to generate your backups. Some of our DreamHost users have experienced similar failures when creating backups with the PclZip or ZipArchive compressors, and changing the Total Upkeep backup compressor to System Zip allowed them to get backups working as expected.

Ok, so my site is using the Crio template, so if I uninstall the premium plugin, wont that ruin my website? I tried the 2nd option, I backup after changing the compressor to System Zip and it failed. Below is the info:

Thank you for sending us that information!

The Premium options for Crio are unlocked when the plugin is installed/activated, but the customizations you made with it are stored separately in your website’s database, and will remain intact if you reinstall the plugin.

Do you know if the PHP version running on your web server has FastCGI enabled? We have a section in one of our support articles that provides some additional background on this, but the gist is that DreamHost was able to determine that some users were also able to get backups working by disabling FastCGI. I also located an article in their support documentation that demonstrates how to change the PHP version used on your web server.
