    Hello:
    I am getting this error when importing products from a csv file:

    Error retrieving remote image
    https://website.image.jpg. Error: cURL error 28: Connection timed out after 10000 milliseconds

    I’ve seen many tutorials and I can’t find a way to solve it. I have tried disabling all plugins. I have created a subdomain and installed wordpress and woocommerce again and it doesn’t work (from 3 different servers).

    You mentioned that you are importing products from a CSV file, can you please share how are you importing them?

    If you are using the default import/export option through WooCommerce here:

    Then the following image rules apply:

    * Images need to be pre-uploaded or available online to import to your store.
    * External URLs are supported and imported into the Media Library if used.
    * You can define the filename if the image already exists in the Media Library.

    Otherwise, are you using a plugin in doing so?

    I am able to view the images too but when i try to import a prodcut with the csv i get the image error.

    Yes i am using the default import/export option through woocommerce.

    I am using a CSV with this content (this is only with 1 product for proof):

    Hi @flyordier36,

    Thank you for the CSV file.

    I was able to successfully import the product and this is how it appears on the products admin page (https://snipboard.io/Yt4dxj.jpg) – and here’s the product page on the frontend of the test website (https://snipboard.io/xR8f7a.jpg).

    Can you try running the import after disabling all plugins (except WooCommerce) and switching the theme to Storefront?

    Hello

    I have installed a fresh copy of wordpress on a subdomain. I have installed only the woocommerce plugin and the storefront theme. I keep getting the same error.
    I have done this on three different servers: 1&1, Strato, Siteground.
    In all I get the same result with the same error
    If it’s not a server issue, it’s not a plugin conflict issue or a theme issue. I have no idea what is happening.
