Hi @nectar9000, thanks for reaching out to us!

It looks like the error 406 is thrown by a WAF at Simply, which is likely to be your website host. It looks like your REST API is working properly for users that aren’t logged in, I just ran some tests on my end so Central should be able to connect.

It may be necessary to add our IPs to a whitelist/allowlist for this Simply firewall. If you don’t have direct access to administer this yourself, you should reach out to their support to see if they’re blocking Wordfence Central or other Wordfence services. Our IPs for your and their reference are here: https://www.wordfence.com/help/advanced/#servers-and-ip-range

Once you’ve allowed our IPs to connect to your site, head over to Wordfence Central, go to the Connection Issues tab. Clear out any sites that might be in here.

Now visit your site and log in as an admin. Navigate to Tools > Diagnostics > Other Tests > Clear all Wordfence Central connection data. Clear the connection data and then from the Wordfence Dashboard, click on “Connect this site” in the Wordfence Central widget.

https://www.wordfence.com/help/central/connect/#troubleshooting-connection-issues also has some troubleshooting steps you could follow.

    Thanks,

    Peter.
