Error: .. different domain name ..

    I get the following error in the settings of subscribe2: “You appear to be sending notifications from [email protected], which has a different domain name than your blog server http://www.xxx.de. This may result in failed emails.” Remark: original e-mail adress and URL was replaced by me.
    Any suggestions, what is the problem?

    Subscribe2 is a plugin designed to send emails and therefore the main support queries arise when they don’t send.

    One of the biggest reasons they fail to send is when users configure a blog on on domain (xxx.de in your example) to have emails sent from an email address on a different domain (zzz.de in your example). This is very frequently viewed by hosting providers as ‘spoofing’ of email headers and they block the emails.

    If you are certain it’s going to work you can ignore the warning message.
