    Hi! I’m almost new to WordPress and I’m not a developer (I’m a Designer).

    My problem is:
    I’ve added a new translated ENG page via WMPL control (“Translate this page in: English” from the Page Modify panel) and then copied the Page Layout from the corresponding ITA page.
    After doing this actions and saving my new ENG page, all of the TinyMCE of all the ENG pages are not displaying their content on the frontend pages (it appears everywhere the same string translation of one of the footer’s TinyMCE blocks), while the correct contents are still existing in the backend. It affected both my new TinyMCE block and all of the pre-existing blocks in all the other ENG pages.
    In all the ITA frontend pages, instead, all the contents are displayed correctly.

    I’ve tried:
    – disabling and reactivating Black TinyMCE;
    – switching to another theme and then reactivating my original theme;
    but it didn’t fix my problem.

    I’m using BlackTinyMCE 2.2.1, Page Builder 1.5.4, WPML Multilingual CMS 2.9.3, WPML String Translation 1.9, Better Font Awesome 1.0.6 and Gravity Forms 1.8.3

    Can you help me please?
    Thank you!

    Are the BSTW instances showing in the WPML string translation panel? You may need to resave your widgets, in order to let them be translated via WPML string translation (and then appear in the english version), if you installed WPML after the widgets were already there.

    I’ve already re-saved the widgets in the footer, but nothing changes.

    The problem relates to the main content section of all my translated pages, the one that I manage with Page Builder+TinyMCE Widget.

    It’s connected to a weird behavior that I’ve already noticed while I was working at this website: when the text section of a TinyMCE box is empty (for example, if I set a title and not a text content), in the corresponding frontend page it appears some random content (always the content that belongs to a widget placed in the footer).

    I’ll attach a screenshot so you can see what’s happening in the frontend: in every single TinyMCE box appears the content of the last footer widget.

    Sorry, I didn’t notice that you were using Page Builder too. Widgets added via page builder are not translatable with WPML String Translation. You just have to recreate them in the translated page (this is because the same page could have a different page builder structure between languages).

    As for other issue (random content when widget text is empty), could you test if the same happens with a native text widget (with empty text) and/or with a different theme?

    Hi Marco,
    yep, I’ve already noticed that it takes to recreate and translate them in the new page.

    I’ve tested my page with a standard WP text widget.
    This is the result on my ENG (broken) page
    As you can see, the text widget is displayed correctly.

    This is the corresponding ITA page, in which all the TinyMCE widget are working correctly.

    It is possible that this problem is occurring due to some conflicts bewteen TinyMCE and WPML? PageBuilder it’s working without bugs in every page of this site.

    Is there any kind of things I can do to help you find the cause of this issue?

    Hi there,
    sorry for the late follow-up. There was an issue when using Black Studio TinyMCE Widget in conjunction with Page Builder and WPML String Translation.
    It has been fixed with version 2.2.6 of the plugin released on 2015-08-25, so I think that it should work for you too now.
