Hi there @jinsley8,
Thanks for writing to us and sharing the details.
PowerPack uses a JavaScript-based method to fetch the photos from Instagram.com.
This method relies on the ability of JS to access the https://instagram.com/ site and fetch the images from the public profiles.
However, the feed is working here without any errors but recently Instagram has changed the access method, and now it is mandatory in some regions to login to https://instagram.com to view and get data from the public profiles.
Due to this the JS responsible for fetching the photos is not working and hence the feed is not showing any photos.
I am sorry for this inconvenience caused.
Our development team is looking into this issue but at present, we don’t have an alternative solution to this issue.
Thanks.
Hey!
I inserted the widget and it managed to fetch some content. But then everything disappeared after 10 seconds.
Does Instagram block the fetch request still?
Hi @webkickstart,
Recently Instagram has changed the access method, and now it is mandatory in some regions to login to https://instagram.com to view and get data from the public profiles.
Due to this, the logic responsible for fetching the photos is not working, and therefore, the feed is not showing any photos.
Our dev team is looking for an alternate solution but currently, we don’t have one. I am sorry for the inconvenience caused.
For more info, have a look at this doc: https://powerpackelements.com/docs/instagram-feed-not-working/
As an alternative, you can use the following plugin for your requirement – https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/instagram-feed/
Hope this helps! 🙂
Thanks.
