    Hi Clayton,

I hope this message finds you well.

I am reaching out regarding an issue that occurred during a refund attempt using your plugin. The following error message was displayed:

“Capture could not be refunded due to insufficient funds. Please check to see if you have sufficient funds in your PayPal account or if the bank account linked to your PayPal account is verified and has sufficient funds.”

I have already verified that my PayPal account is in good standing and that the linked bank account is active and properly funded. Despite this, the refund process failed.

Could you please look into this issue or advise on any possible causes related to the plugin’s functionality?

Thank you in advance for your support.

    Best regards,
    Daniel

    Hi @virtual03

Thank you for reaching out. This is a response that comes directly from PayPal’s API and not something the plugin would trigger or control.

My recommendation is to reach out to PayPal support and inquire how that error happened given your account’s good standing.

If you go to the WooCommerce > Status > Logs page there will be a wc-ppcp log file. The error you received will be in the log along with a debug ID which you can provide to PayPal so they can lookup that specific request.

    Kind Regards

    Hello @mrclayton

All clear, thank you very much for your support! I will contact PayPal support as recommended and provide them with the debug ID from the WooCommerce logs.

Thanks again for your quick assistance!

    Best regards

    Daniel
