Error establishing a database connection

Hello UpdraftPlus Support,
I recently performed a site restore using UpdraftPlus. Since then, I’ve started to experience intermittent errors saying “Error establishing a database connection.”
This issue had never occurred before the restore. It’s not consistent: for example, when I try to open a page, I may see the error the first or second time, but if I refresh two or three times, the page eventually loads correctly.
The website in question is academy.tokeoils.com, which currently has almost no traffic, so there is no risk of server overload from visitors. That makes me think it could be related to the restore process itself rather than resource usage.
Could you please let me know:
- if this is a known issue after a restore with UpdraftPlus,
- and what steps you recommend to troubleshoot or resolve it?
