"Error establishing a database connection"

    Hello All,

    I attempted to create another blog using both the create new site in the Super Admin Section and a link off of the main site. Both of these have worked in the past. However, for some reason now when I create a site its not spawning the needed tables in the database and I’m getting the following “Error establishing a database connection” message. This seems quite odd considering a connection to the database seems to have been made when it updated the wp_user and wp_sites tables. Any ideas on how to fix this issue?

    Check your error logs to start. (the ones on the server. If you have no idea where these are, ask your webhost)

    Start double checking some other things:

    – did the host change some db details?
    – does the db user have all privileges on the db? (was that changed?)
    – did you try disabling plugins & creating a blog? Yes, plugins can interfere with this.
