Error establishing a database connection

    Hi Guys,

    I had 3.7.1 installed with a premium theme and yesterday the dashboard was not displaying properly. Upon reading many of the posts and videos on youtube, i found the best way was to reinstall wordpress as i didnt not want to lose the work from my site. I removed all the WP files from the root folder and transferred via ftp to the folder the new files. i am using the same

    DB, DB user, db pass however i keep getting the below.

    Can someone please help me here.

    You need to check your database connection details with your hosts. It’s not something we can really help you with here.

    So, check if you have entered the correct database name, database username, database password and MySQL hostname in your wp-config.php file. Also, check if you have a working database (i.e., with no empty tables, damaged or corrupt data).
