Error establishing a database connection?

    Natural site I get an error: Error establishing a database connection. Very, very uncomfortable situation, this phenomenon is constantly one particular time, I was hosting a normal inspection activities? I do not know how to overcome people please help? my site: lap mang fpt.

    I logged into the admin get an error:”Error establishing a database connection

    This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at localhost. This could mean your host’s database server is down.

    Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
    Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
    Are you sure that the database server is running?

    If you’re unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host. If you still need help you can always visit the WordPress Support Forums.”

    The notice WordPress gave tells you all you need to know. 🙂

    WordPress cannot connect with the database you set. Are you database connection details in wp-config.php correct? If so, your database is probably offline and you should contact your hosting provider ASAP.

    I understand what you say, but I think it is not accurate because I have 2 websites hosted on that same run, 1 other websites do not encounter this problem?

    David,

    This issue is usually caused by the wp-config file mentioning a different table prefix than what you are using in your database. Example, if you are using a custom table prefix in your database such as wpmu_ and your wp-config.php file says the table prefix is wp_ (standard default) then you will see this error.

    Check your wp-config and make sure the “table prefix” matches that what actually exists in your database.

    Actually, if the prefix is wrong, but it can connect to the database, it will just redirect you to the installer. “Error establish database connection” means it cannot establish a connection with the database.

    davidngo, did you check your wp-config.php file to see if it has the right database server, username, and password? If so, you need to ask your hosting provider why your database server is offline.

    Thank the enthusiastic help of friends, I’ve found the cause, which is from the mail under the domain name system was attacked Attacks Local server crashes resulting in such cases, I have locked the IP address back and fix the problem. But I want to ask why it was such a domain name in the mail only to receive but not send mail to go? There are security holes that might be?

    I’m not sure what you mean. Are you saying your mail server was under attack? If so, there really isn’t anything WordPress can do about that, and you should really contact your hosting provider about preventative measures.

    I’m really sad because one day after the site runs fine now so corrupted? Maybe I need a better hosting or website means that I have problems of privacy reasonable?

    Thank you very much, I had completely overcome the problem, as follows:
    1 I 1 DDOS attack from IP address group in China.
    2 The reason being is the theme from the previous insert malicious code, but I do not know.
    3 I wiped Sell and block this IP address. The time now since I ran duooc overcome nearly 2 weeks without being followed.
