Error establishing a database connection

    can’t seem to make any progress with this one. I double checked all my passwords and login details, using parallels confixx and don’t know where to go from here. Couldn’t find any solution that worked online either… help please! 🙂

    If you’re 100% sure that all of the details are correct then you should verify everything with your hosting company. There’s a few times when there’s little problems like not being able to use localhost as the hostname, or the hosting server adds a prefix to your database.

    lets say I’m 80% sure, as sure as a beginner can be 🙂 I even tried lots of different variations and uploaded each (of course deleing the only one) every time… Nothing worked. I’ll get in touch with my hosting provider today.
