    Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?

    I think your site working on cache

    Please check your database user, name and password details with your control panel

    @lailashi1, Have you checked your wp-config file? Make sure that the username, password, hostname, database name are all correct.

    We have the same problem. Restart the MySQL server!

    You didn’t mention whether this happened on an existing site, or if you’re installing WordPress for the first time.

    If the latter, this is quite common, you just need to check and re-enter the details correctly.

    If the former, you could do what @eoslover suggested – you’ll probably need to ask your hosting company to do this for you.
