Error establishing a database connection

    Hello all,

    I tried to access my site today deluxecorpjobs.com and got the “Error establishing a database connection” message.

    After doing some research, it appears that the database may need to be repaired? It provides me with a line of code to insert into my wp-config.php file but I am unable to even access my dashboard (deluxecorpjobs.com/login as I keep getting that same error message.

    Any feedback would be appreciated.

    Use FTP to access your site to edit wp-config.php, though I recommend going in through your hosting control panel and getting into phpmyadmin. There, you can select all the tables in your datbase and check/repair them.

    I’d start by excluding your web host first, and then proceed with checking things on your end. So talk to them first to see if everything’s ok on their end.

    I had our IT team setup hosting for this site and I’m waiting to hear back from them. I’ll provide an update once that happens.
