error establishing a database connection

    One of my website has this problem. error establishing a database connection. It keeps happening often when I log into dashboard, sometimes it fixes itself in 15-20 seconds. But sometimes I have to turn off and turn on again droplet in digital ocean. As I know It may have several reasons. How Can I see exactly what’s wrong with it? how to diagnose and resolve it? How to see error logs or something that tells me reason why this keep happening? Thanks to all. ( I want to know how to diagnoze why this happening and then find out the method how to fix it)

    Since you say its a VPS, then check mysql error log, it shall have more clues about whats happening with mysqld and why it does not accept connections.

    It can be misconfigured and your VPS can run out of RAM
