"Error establishing a database connection"! Argh!

    So please bear with me here, since I’m way out of my depth here. I was trying to upload a new header image via FTP, and I think I managed to do so, but now neither my site or its backend seem to work (http://www.postbourgie.com).

    I get this message: “Error establishing a database connection”

    I’m pretty sure I dislodged something, and this is probably not a huge lift, but I’ve been up all night trying to edit a podcast and re-upload my header image, which came undone when I tried to connect to Jetpack.

    Help? Please. I’m at my wit’s end.

    Your site is loading fine for me. No header image but everything else is OK.

    Try a different machine – preferably one that is on a different network and uses a different ISP. It may be a local network problem.

    okay, seems to be working again. Now I just have to figure out how to fix the header again.

    Now I’m having a problem reaching your site! Have you spoken to your hosts about this?
