• Hello,
I keep getting this message when I try to access parts of my website:

This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at bd892578702872.db.2578702.hostedresource.com:3312. This could mean your host’s database server is down.

Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
Are you sure that the database server is running?
If you’re unsure what these terms mean you should probab……

This is not allowing me to access my website and it also comes up when others try to access my website and it is not okay. I really need some help with this. I contacted my host company and they don’t see anything wrong on their end. Please someone look into this.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Verify the settings in wp-config.php and verify that your mysql server is actually running. The reason it sort of works is that content is being served from cache, so you don’t see the error until you need to fetch something not cached.

Is this something my hosting company can help me with?

They can tell you if your mysql server is running and if you have the right values in your wp-config.php file.
