Hmmm, I don’t know.
I’m trying to replicate this error so I can try fix it. I’ve updated my WP version (version 5.5.1), and I updated the Classic Editor plugin to the latest as well (1.6), and then switched on my WP debug messages within the ‘wp-config.php’ file – but I’m getting no error messages my side.
What version of WordPress and Classic Editor are you using? There were a few JS errors with WP version 5.5 apparently, which have been fixed in 5.5.1.
Hi, did upgrading to the latest version of WordPress resolve this issue?
I’ve added a new setting to the latest version of Slide Anything (version 2.3.27) which resolves this issue.
After you update to this version of SA, go to ‘Settings -> Writing’ within the WordPress Dashboard. You will see a new setting (checkbox) at the bottom of the page called ‘Disable TinyMCE Button’. Check this checkbox, and this will resolve this error message.
With this checkbox ticked, you will need to use the shortcode to insert you SA sliders into pages and posts. You copy the shortcode using the “Copy to Clipboard” button near the top-right of your SA Settings page – see:

You then paste this shortcode into a WordPress page/post editor (or a page-builder text module) – it should work in both the visual editor or text editor modes.
