We use the Newspaper theme from tagdiv for our news site, which is used by more than 100,000 websites.

After installing your plugin, the author page breaks and the author’s news feed based on the configured filters does not work.

@cyberlabteam I don’t want to talk badly about another developer team, but the Newspaper theme is … difficult. We keep reporting bugs to them and never get anywhere. This is across all our plugins. If their support can reach out to us, we’d be happy to help them.

    Good afternoon.

Have you tried posting a thread about this issue on their forum?

But it’s strange that when you set your site to 0 articles for users, I’m not sure if the topic is to blame.

This can be seen when you open the list /wp-admin/users.php?orderby=posts_count&order=desc and your counter shows 0 posts for each user, even though demo articles were created a long time ago.

There are many responses on the forum template thread about your module and problems on the forum.

Perhaps you should buy one license and set up a demo site, conduct all the testing, and communicate with them on the forum.

This will allow you to ensure compatibility and sell more licenses.

    Hello!

Unfortunately, I can’t provide support for untested plugins.

Thank you so much for understanding!

@cyberlabteam Please ask them to contact us. We have several support tickets in with them that are waiting for responses.

Excuse me, but this is a strange situation—you’re asking me to write to them on your behalf so that they contact you?

At the same time, your module breaks the template and doesn’t work with their theme.

And you didn’t take the demo to check their template and compatibility or write to them about the bugs on their forum?

I don’t work for you or their support team.

As far as I understand, I will use another module with the same functionality as yours so that it doesn’t break the site’s theme template.

    OK, thanks @cyberlabteam.

We haven’t been on their forum, but we have raised these issues with them. Unfortunately, no resolution from them so far.

    Good luck with your project.

Their forum based on the template is here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/

There are also many topics on your template there.

As I said earlier, the owners of such templates are your potential customers, and you can buy a license, test the modules, and discuss compatibility on the forum.

But I don’t think that without testing on your part, you will be able to achieve compatibility between the website template and the module.

And support usually responds to template customers.

@cyberlabteam As matter of fact, I personally have contacted them since August 2024. We test the module, discuss the compatibility with them. We open discussions on their support forum: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tagdiv-cloud-library-conflict-with-custom-taxonomies/

They said will fix it, but they never did it after 1 year. This is on email:

I’m not trying to defend ourselves, but just trying to clarify things out that we did contact them and try our best to resolve the compatibility issue but it seems they didn’t put in the same level of effort on their side.
