I have just had an SSL installed on my domain and from the ssl2buy.com/wiki/why-no-padlock checker see there are some unsecure items. I installed your plugin but no matter which HTTPS detection setting I use I always get an “Error – Forbidden” error so I cannot progress to the next stage of trying to fix any of the unsecure items. my domain is pay.hotguidebelize.com – any suggestions?

    G’day geckogirl,

Your website seems to be working OK, it is loading everything with HTTPS. However, it’s loading this image from a website with an invalid certificate:

    https://hotguidebelize.com/pay/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/background-web-image.png

Either that site needs to fix its certificate problem, or you should load that image onto your site and serve it from there.

    cheers,
    Ross

The certificate is issued on a single sub-domain only (pay.hotguidebelize.com) and its working correctly.

    comodo dv ssl

When access your root domain hotguidebelize.com, getting warning message “NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID”.

SSL certificate common name mismatch error

I think that your domain pointed to shared IP addresses and one of hosting company customer has installed SSL certificate on shared host.

As well, I would like to suggest you to install wildcard SSL certificate that can secure your root domain and its all sub-domains. Your certificate provider (SSL2BUY) offers lowest price $38 wildcard certificate
