Error: FTP folder cannot be created

    Hi,

    I need to use “FTP” as target for my backup at my hoster (Tophoster.de).
    The login data are correct, but when I run the job, then the error appears:

    ERROR: FTP folder "__Backup-Blog" cannot be created"

    Then I tried to create FIRST this so called folder at my FTP – but BackWPup does not recognize or has not the option to backup to an existing FTP folder, is it right?

    How can I get this to work – either that the plugin can create its folder at the FTP – or that the plugin uses and existing FTP folder for the backup?

    No, backWPup can work with existing folder! IT checks only if the folder exists and when not it try to create it. IT can be that you must give BsckWPup the full path of the ftp folder. Means the full path on The Server system. THat depends onhow the FTP Server works.
