Error in compatibility with php 7.2

Hello,
I use this BBQ plugin as one of the security measures on my website. Last week, I Scann with the plugin “PHP Compatibility Checker” to check for plugins with PHP 7.2 and 7.1 issues on my site because my hosting ‘ll update the PHP7.0 to 7.2 , and the following error came up for BBQ: FOUND 1 ERROR AFFECTING 1 LINE.
Today, my hosting change the PHP 7.0 to 7.2. Now The website admin access spot HTTP ERROR 500. So your plugin is clearly 100% not compatible to PHP 7.2.Could you fix that?

Incorrect, you proceed from a false presumption: that the error-checking plugin is correct, which it is not in this case.
The result you are seeing is just a false positive. Safe to ignore. The string that is detected by whatever PHP scanner you are using is a static string used as a pattern, “0x3c62723e”. I.e., It is not processed as functional PHP.
