Error in Edge browser

    Hi there, every time I try to send a message through the Edge browser an error occurs which prevents the message from being sent. The message that appears is:

    “Sorry, there was an error. Please be sure JavaScript and Cookies are enabled in your browser and try again.” Screenshot: http://imgur.com/a/2dhHU

    The Edge browser is running the latest version and Javascript and cookies are enabled, so it should be working fine. I already tested the form on other devices and the same issue occurs. It seems to be working fine in all the other major browsers. Edge is becoming a default and popular browser for many, so it’s really important for me to get it working properly!

    Any idea of what could be going on?

    Ok, I have found the source of the problem. It seemed to have been caused by the plugin WP-SpamShield!

    I still need a way to prevent spam from attacking the contact form. Is there any alternative plugin or solution that you can recommend for this that works across all browsers?

    I’m sorry to hear about the issue you’re having. WP-SpamShield is 100% compatible with the Edge browser, and 100% compatible with Contact Form 7. CF7 is one of our favorite plugins, so we take extra care to make sure it’s compatible. 🙂

    If you’re having that type of error, and it’s consistent, then there is a specific conflict on your site.     Hi @redsand I deleted and then re-activated the plugin and it started working just fine with CF7 accross all browsers 🙂
