ok so I can see a picture, but I don’t know what I am looking at – can you post 2 pictures saying a ‘this one is wrong’ and ‘this one is right’
Hello, @robin-w
In Arabic @mention it appears as in the picture “اﻹدارة@”, should appear @mohammad-syok, I’ve now had a chance to look at this.
There is no quick way to fix this – as bbpress looks for different things, and many suite admins would not want user_name displayed.
Do you have the knowledge to add code to your theme functions file?
Hello, @robin-w
noIn @اﻹدارة can not notification to the member must be @mohammad_sy Please resolved

Hello, @ robin-w
and please move @mention to under name directly, where not be above any field, for example:
Mohammad Sy
@mohammad-sy
field 1
field 2
… etcVersion 3.3.9 corrects the @name part.
On priority, you will see in topic/reply styling item 13 that you can set a priority, which will affect the order it is shown
Hello, @robin-w
1- in @mention must be ” user-nicename ” , not ” login name ” .
2- ” keep a log for this edit ” dont work .
3- “optional reason for editing” make it in option alone .1. [edit] ignore my last, and let me look at it again
2. works on my test site – can you explain what you mean by ‘don’t work’ – do you still see it, or what is wrong?-

2- I activate the option, but nothing happened
I will be releasing version 3.3.10 shortly
I have amended the @mentions to nicename
and redone the edits to split – as that seems sensible
– can you try @mentions and set up and test the edits again
Thanks
Hello, @robin-w
1- Everything works great now, I’ve been using an little old version template, for this change did not work well.2- I want to ask you a question outside the subject :
at sites that are working with “BuddyPress & bbPress” when I put @mention to someone in the topic or reply in forums , do not come to him notification that was mentioned him in BuddyPress notification ?
Is this feature is not present in the bbPress, or is it no longer works in bbPress v2.5.12 ?
If this feature is not present I hope you can ask the developers bbPress added in the next version.
Thank you very much 🙂-

the code is in both 2.5.11 and 2.5.12, but this is just a hook
If running bbpress alone you need the @mentions plugin
If running buddypress, then this should work, but there may well be a setting you need to switch it on – sorry I know very little of buddypress and have no need to find out more
Notification system in BuddyPress enabled, but @mention in bbPress does not work with it, please tell the bbPress developers about this problem
