• I often get this error in my error logs: client denied by server configuration: /wp-content/plugins/bruteprotect/admin/fonts/bruteprotect.ttf

It’s only for when I access the admin. The file is there in my directory, so not sure what is causing it. I wouldn’t worry with it, but it’s clogging up my error logs. What can I do to fix it?

That’s odd– that’s the font that powers our admin icon

    Can you access

    yourdomain.com/wp-content/plugins/bruteprotect/admin/fonts/bruteprotect.ttf

(obviously swap out yourdomain.com for your domain)

It’s there in the folder. If I access it directly I get “Error 403 – Forbidden

Can you check the file permissions? It sounds like it’s set so that it can’t be accessed

0644 for the files. 0755 for the folder the font files are in.

Slightly offtopic, why don’t you use the “dashicons-lock” icon and save an HTTP request? We’re all striving for performance improvements.
