This error occurs when your server is unable to make an outgoing connection to download the feed. Talk to your hosting provider and find out why your server is being blocked from accessing the internet.
Hello Otto Sir,
Thanks for the quick reply. Will contact them regarding this..
Same problem here. Occurs every once in two days. If I retry after one hour it works. The pattern repeats.
I am not sure whether this solution will for everyone else. This is what I did. I used Feedburner to burn a feed out of the URL,
http://blogsearch.google.com/blogsearch_feeds?scoring=d&ie=utf-8&num=10&output=rss&partner=wordpress&q=link:http://yourdomain.org/
replaced the above URL with the URL generated by Feedburner.
So far it’s working without any issue…
By the way I agree with Otto. I spoke to my hosting provider about this. But they wont admit it…
If you found Incoming Links error on your wordpress dashboard as follow:
RSS Error: A feed could not be found at http://blogsearch.google.com/blogsearch_feeds?hl=en&q=link:media-islam.or.id&scoring=d&ie=utf-8&num=10&output=rss. A feed with an invalid mime type may fall victim to this error, or SimplePie was unable to auto-discover it.. Use force_feed() if you are certain this URL is a real feed.
The Solution is simple:
Click “Configure” on the right top of your link:
Enter the RSS feed URL here:
https://www.google.com/search?ie=utf-8&q=link:http://media-islam.or.id/&tbm=blg&tbs=sbd:1&output=rss
Change media-islam.or.id with your domain name.
Works for me!
