Error installing WP Stagging

Hello.
I’m trying to install WP Stagging on my website but I’m unable to. I’m faced with the following error:

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘class’ (T_CLASS), expecting identifier (T_STRING) or variable (T_VARIABLE) or ‘{‘ or ‘$’ in /home/asldkfjgh/public_html/mywebsite.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-staging/Core/WPStaging.php on line 337

I installed “Display PHP Version” plugin to view what PHP version I’m currently using.

WordPress 5.1.5
Running PHP version: 5.4.45
