    Try:
    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides. You may need to access /wp-login.php to get this to kick in fully.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    switching the themes back and forth didn’t help.

    resetting the plugins didn’t either. 🙁

    doesn’t bother me so much, but I’m worried that clients logging in will get confused.

    Found it! Plugin conflict or some such with Theme My Login. Unfortunately, I lost all of my S2Member settings because those geniuses don’t save their settings to the database apparently. But I digress…
