Error Log path – When saving, field blanks out

Probably since forever I have always seen the message “There was a problem reading the log file” for the Error Log on my Dashboard Widgets Suite. Today I started troubleshooting to see if I can get it working. One odd thing I came across in the process is whenever I try to update the log path in the plugin settings and click the ‘Save Changes’ button, after it saves and refreshes the path field is blank. I’m fairly sure I have all correct file permissions and I definitely have admin access, so not sure what is happening here. Maybe a bug? Maybe I don’t know what I’m doing? Any help appreciated, cheers!
