    Probably since forever I have always seen the message “There was a problem reading the log file” for the Error Log on my Dashboard Widgets Suite. Today I started troubleshooting to see if I can get it working. One odd thing I came across in the process is whenever I try to update the log path in the plugin settings and click the ‘Save Changes’ button, after it saves and refreshes the path field is blank. I’m fairly sure I have all correct file permissions and I definitely have admin access, so not sure what is happening here. Maybe a bug? Maybe I don’t know what I’m doing? Any help appreciated, cheers!

    Glad to help.

    I am not able to repeat the issue, so not sure what might be happening. I will dig into the code and see if there is anything that would clear/empty the field, like maybe there is some error happening or maybe sanitization, etc. In the meantime, if you can check your site’s error log (obviously will need to access it directly) and/or your site’s debug log for any related errors, it may yield some useful clues as to the reason or underlying cause.

    Figured it out, had a typo in my path that was tricky to find. Sorry for the false alarm, all is working now. Thank you!
