Error Log: "Table doesn't exist"

    The following error logs are building up in my root directory:

    WordPress database error Table ‘x.wp_2_audit_trail’ doesn’t exist for query INSERT INTO wp_2_audit_trail

    I checked PHPMyAdmin and the table indeed does not exist however wp_audit_trail does.

    Can anyone shine any light on this?

    Note: I’m running a multisite install.
