Error logging in after install

Hi There

I have used WordPress for all my website builds and have never come across this problem. I installed wordpress on a domain I own and it installed successfully. However when I try log in it says the username and password is incorrect. I have tried resetting the password however it tells me the user does not exists. When I go into php.myadmin and have a look under users my profile is there with the correct password but I’m still getting blocked.
