error: MAIL FROM command failed

    Hi all,

    I have a problem with WP mail SMTP. I don’t receive emails from July. The email test work but if I try send message from website I receive this error:

    Mailer: Other SMTP
    The following From address failed: [email protected] : MAIL FROM command failed,,0,SMTP server error: MAIL FROM command failedSMTP server error: MAIL FROM command failed

    I need help! Pls 🙁

    Hi @legapeligna,

    Thanks for reaching out! According to the error message, it appears that you have configured the WP Mail SMTP -> Settings incorrectly.

    If you’re configuring Yahoo SMTP, you need to generate an app password by following this guide and then update your SMTP Password under the WP Mail SMTP settings page.

    Also, make sure to update the “from email address” with your Yahoo email address.

    Once you correct the SMTP settings, try sending a test email (WP Mail SMTP -> Tools).
