  • You have altered your Functions file adversely.
If you can FTP (Filezilla, Cuteftp, etc.) to your site, navigate to the functions.php file in your theme (/home2/jsilva79/public_html/wp-content/themes/alizee/functions.php) and right-click on the function.php and select edit.
It will ask what app to use.
    If in Windows, use Notepad.
    If Apple, TextEdit.
Remove the code you put in and save.
    Site should return to normal.

If you don’t FTP, but have access to your File Manager through your hosting account, follow the same path as above.

To change this code you speak of above – were you in your WordPress Dashboard and went to Appearance > Editor and added some code to your Theme Functions (functions.php) file?

If so, at the Hosting Service where your site is (such as Godaddy or Bluehost or some other), when you log in to your account, do you see a link that says “File Manager”?

any where i go it show me the same message:

    We will go slow here…

Watch this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3a5kRk552lA) and STOP just after he says “Click the GO button”, then post back here that you are in File manager.

These are the same instructions as the video…

1 – You need to login to HostGator cPanel. You will see sections (boxes) with icons (little images) in them.

2 – Scroll down to the section with the title “Files”

3 – Look carefully and under one of the icons, you will see “File Manager”. Click on it.

4 – A small window will pop up will “check-boxes” on the left side of the text. Click the little box beside “Web Root”. DO NOT click hidden files.

    5 – Click “GO” button.

    6 – Do you see a folder named “wp-content”?

it dosnt allow me to get in the cpainel say invalid login

Then contact HostGator Support and tell them this. We cannot fix this until you can login to cPanel.
