After installing WP Security Scan plugin, I am unable to make any changes or updates to my WordPress website. Whenever I attempt to make any changes, I get this error message:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 491520 bytes) in /home/myusername/public_html/wp-admin/menu.php on line 235

What does this mean and how can I resolve the problem? I contacted my web hosting service and they recommended I contact the person who created the plugin. (Posted message in forum – no response as yet.)

I really need your help. Do you know why I’m getting this error message? I’m just starting out and need to work on my site.

    Thank you.

    Corinne A.

Delete the plugin from your server. It looks like you account doesn’t have enough memory to use the plugin.

You can delete it by logging in via FTP to your server.

Thank you. I was looking in the wrong folder, but I found it, deleted it and am very appreciative of your response.
