    Good Day,

We installed this plugin, cleared all cache, checked our HTTP header for the presence of “cf-edge-cached” (yes, it’s present), but we still get the pesky subject error message in your plugin.

So, it appears your plugin is not communicating properly with our website although we followed your set-up instructions to the letter and our HTTP header indicates APO is working.

    What’s going on? Got fix?

    Thank you.

    Solved:

Not sure what happened, but after disabling your plugin, clearing ALL cache, tweaking our cache settings in SG Optimizer (plugin), and reinstalling your plugin, the “cf-edge-cache” error message disappeared.

So, it appears the issue lied with our cache settings in SG Optimizer. We’ll monitor this closely and report more details – if beneficial to all.

    Cheerio!

    Update:

Unfortunately, this issue is not resolved.

The plugin message “CF-EDGE-CACHE Response Header is Missing” has returned.

    Bah humbug!

    Final Update (Solved):

We pinned down the issue to SG Optimizer (with Full Page Caching activated). Once we deactivated SGO, the issue we reported here was fixed.

As is turns out, SGO Full Page Caching performs the same function as Cloudflare’s APO.

    Reference: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/cloudflare-apo-sg-optimizer/

After performing several benchmarking tests, and with SGO FPC activated, we have confirmed there’s no performance gain (at the edge) with APO activated. Therefore, we deactivated APO.

    Cheerio!
