    Hello,

I’m getting the following error message when I do a backup with BackWPup. Your koko plugin is also used on another identical page without this error message. Why is that and what does the error message mean?

WARNING: The link “/var/www/xxx/html/xxx/koko-analytics-collect.php” is not followed.

    Thanks in advance.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

You can ignore that warning. That file is automatically recreated by Koko when needed and is a temporary storage buffer for our visitor counts. It doesn’t have to be in your backup anyway.

Hope that helps. If you have any questions, please let me know!

Allright, thx. But why does the message only appers on one site? The other site is “free”.

I can’t say for sure… I guess you would have to ask the backup plugin author.

The file is created on the fly by Koko maybe the moment it was checking the file wasn’t there on the other site.
