Hi – I am trying to change 2018 to 2019 in the website footer in the Customizer, and it won’t let me save any changes because of this error message:
An error occurred: malformed social links
When you go to the Customizing social links in the Customizer, none of the current links are shown, just the error message. I have tried on both Chrome and Firefox. I can’t save anything in the Customizer because of the error message. But the current social links look and work fine on the website.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi – Thanks for your comment on the website (pasted in below for anyone else who has this problem). I cleared the browser cache, but the error still appeared. I just re-entered all the social links again in the Customizer and it was able to save.

    “Hi,

First of all, I would suggest you delete all browser cache from all-time closing all active tabs first. Now, please try to change the copyright text. If still, you are facing the problem, please try to log in to your WordPress from a different trusted computer and try to change it from that computer.

Another option: Please try to deactivate social icons in the footer first and then try to change the copyright text. Once things are done, Please add social icons in the footer again.

    With regards,

    Jewel”
