Error message that this isn’t a valid plugin

    I have been using MH-Magazine-Lite for several years with my Ecwid site. Something went wrong with the WordPress end of things and I have spent several days trying to troubleshoot it with no success. I decided to start WordPress from scratch. I tried installing the MH-Magazine-Lite plugin and it says it is not a valid plugin. Any idea why this would happen? Thanks.

    Hi @dlnw52,

    Thanks for reaching out to us. May we know which plugin you were trying to install? Also, may we know if the MH Magazine Lite Theme is already installed on your new WordPress?

    If not yet installed, here’s a quick guide on how to install MH Magazine Lite Theme:

    1. Login to your Dashboard
    2. Navigate to Appearance >> Themes
    3. Select Add New Theme on the Top Left Corner of the Dashboard
    4. Select Upload Theme
    5. Choose File and Upload mh-magazine-lite..zip
    6. Click Install Now and wait.
    7. Navigate to Appearance >> Themes then activate MH Magazine Lite Theme

    Good morning Mej de Castro, thanks so much. I want to make sure I’m using the most up-to-date version. Is the free theme Magazine Lite updated regularly? I am using MH NewsMagazine, a child theme of MH Magazine lite; what is the current version?

    Hi @dianeahern,

    We’ve been enhancing the MH Magazine theme, and though it’s been a year since the last Lite version update, rest assured it’s still compatible with the latest WordPress version.

    The current MH Magazine Lite Version is v2.9.2 and it is the latest version of the theme.
