  • Hiya girl…. I’m not seeing your error on the index page. If it’s something aLinks is throwing, maybe hit Sean up about it? http://headzoo.com/ – check the forums, or contact him….

    Hey V 🙂

I do know aLinks is the problem and I actually went to his forum first and even found a thread with my error.Problem is his forum has basically been deserted and questions go unanswered.I did a search for this error online and it seems to happen to others outside of wordpress so I was hoping just by chance someone might have a fix for me. 🙂

Oh yeah you might not see the error because I turn the plugin off and other times it’s on.I’m still messing around with it 🙂

Hmmm. Did you input a new link just about then? It seems to be choking on a backward slash (\) in something, and the ref’d line has no slashes at all.

If that’s not it, check with your host to see if they changed the php version installed on your server space.

You are good V … lol

My blog has been falling apart for the past few days and I decided to investigate my host because I had made absolutely no changes that would cause these problems.

I discovered they upgraded to php 5.2.0 and that most likely caused the problem with aLinks plugin and now today my Flickr RSS plugin is also out of whack as the pictures won’t even show it.

I thought I would wait it out and it would fix itself but so far… nothing.

Hmmm. Couple things you can try: contact your host and request they put the previous version of php back on your server space; contact the flickr plugin author and request help making it work with the new version of php.

Bummer when things break with upgrades….

this really sucks. I’m having the exact same problem and as you can see over here:

    http://www.hadithuna.com/sitewide/phpinfo.php

I don’t have php 5 installed, but php 4.4. The error happens sometimes but not all of the times, sometimes appears on the frontend sometimes on the backend but is all the time frustrating!
