Error Message when trying open uploaded document

I bought this plugin because I needed a document manager with all the bells and whistles. But now i can’t even open a document uploaded.

I changed the root folder from the default to C:\inetpub\wwwroot\project\wpps\wp-content\uploads\Test because I didn’t want to expose any of the WordPress folders. But I can’t open any of the files in the new ‘Test’ folder. When I switch the root back to C:\inetpub\wwwroot\BOJPortal\wpps\….then i’m able to open the file. Please help.
